I Notice Alot Of 250R Owners Having 18" Turf Tamers On Thier R's, I Have 20" Holeshots On Mine, Would A Turf Tamer Be A Better Choice Of Tire In Dirt & Woods) Than The Holeshot? & I Know The 18" Will Give Me A Better Lowend Is That The Main Reason For Putting 18's On?

guys use 18" for a few reasons. Motocross guys use them mostly to get max power out of there machines, and also to keep the quad lower for cornering. I dont know of anyone in there righ tmind that would use 18" tires for the woods. Ide stick with the size u have unless u plan on racing MX. Running 18" tires would prob. give u a more peaky power. It allows the engine to rev MUCH quicker.

Turfs are awesome for hard pack dirt and loam and not to bad anywhere else. i wouldnt recommend them for trail use tho. If you plan on racing MX then DEF get 18 inch turfs, race grooved!
