I've settled on getting my son a DRX2 90. My only challenge now is finding a dealer in my area. I'm in Columbia, South Carolina. Does anyone know of a dealer list by location I can review? Or better yet, a dealer that is 2-3 hr driving distance from me? Thanks for the help!

send a PM to Gary(bulldogfallon). He is the guy who can help answer your questions and get you set up.

Thanks, I pm'd him. Awaiting response. He's in the Palm Beach, FL area, right? I didn't notice ANY dealers in SC from his site.....

Yeah he's in FL but should be able to tell you if someone is closer to you. Otherwise he can get one to you. I live in MN and have bought 2 quads and tons of other stuff from him cuz his service is great. He should be able to help you out.

I think it is different depending on where you are at and it helps if you have a business addy with a fork truck.

Gary can go over all that with you if you have no local dealer. He is a great asset to DRR and will do a great job by you. You will not be disappointed.

He has always quoted me shipping included. He treated me well. My first experience with Gary went better then I ever expected it could and now he gets almost all my business. My engine guy has gotten a little too. :D It does depend on your address and where it will be sent. Mine went to the closest trucking company and we picked them up there. They have the forklifts to help me load in my truck.

I have a few questions some of you may be able to answer in the meantime. I've seen the foot brake kit that can be added. If I install the XFR nerfs, would I need this kit? Also what does the left handbrake function? Is it rear brakes or a park brake?

It is a good idea and recommended to install the nerfs. You do not "need" the foot brake for any reason other then preference for the rider. The left lever is your rear brake and the right lever is your front brake/parking brake.

left handbrake is the rear brake. The right is the front and has a clip to provide a hydraulic parking brake. You can use the foot brake with the XFR's which are awesome btw. but the pedal is pretty close to the peg. You can extend the pedal and it works well. I put a pic in this thread about what has been an affordable solution.

Thanks Ryann. I called them. Nobody there could tell me if they were a dealer or not. Pretty funny!

Does the DRX come with a footbrake in stock form?

no , but you can get one that's made for it...
if racing 50 stock, they are not allowed as far
as I know. but the production classes should
not be a problem..
