Power kit for the 400ex?

I have an 07 400ex, I just ordered a hmf sport series slip on pipe, I was told i need to jet the carb now. should i just go ahead and get a power kit with the air filter,outwears,and jet and etc? Do they make a good amount of difference?

dont buy a "kit" or "power up pack" because you can get the same parts cheaper through other places. Check motosport.com, rockymountainatv.com, or C&D racing. You can get the same stuff thats in a kit or pack for less.
