Does anyone know the compressed gasket thickness for standard 400ex cometic gaskets? Both head and base are fiber. BTW, has anyone had a problem with the fiber head gasket as opposed to the steel (blown gasket,etc.)?

I was wondering about the thickness of the gaskets earlier today too..

I called Cometic today. Stock 400ex gaskets: head=0.040, 0.025 compressed. Base=0.020, 0.014 compressed. Hope this helps (it did for me).
P.S. This is for the graphite/steel laminate head gasket, the all stainless steel one will be different.
