Hey guys i have an 05' 450r and when i start the bike when its cold and has been sitting for a while it ticks louder than normal for a minute....does that happen to anyone else? once it has been running for a minute it sounds and runs fine...??

It is probably because it is cold and the oil is all at the bottom of the engine. I see you are in Ohio. What weight oil do you use?

I the winter depending on how cold it is you might want to drop to a 5w or 0w oil instead of a 10w. The thinner oil flows better in the cold weather.
