You absolutely can't go wrong with BOLD graphics.

In fact I think some of these graphic companies should make some aftermarket BOLD graphics. I think they would sell.

And you know this how? No one really knows what Honda does, they make you wait and see. If it comes out in summer it will be the same, if not, then it will be released in Sept. at their show.

haha bold graphics u say? wow!!! the 450r's a joke haha

yeah dont just say this year is Bold new graphics like almost every year or new plastics. I think now Honda see's the competition to be the best with the KTM and such were they really made a step in factory quads. I think Honda realizes they need to change and I think this is their year. I think Honda slightly updated for this year just to keep people interested before they realease their big idea.

I am a honda fan but i doubt they will have fuel injection on the 09 450... i heard from a guy who used to have a honda franchise which he lost 2 years ago that honda is getting involved into making air planes now thats why they havent made dramatic changes to their ATV's..thats just hear say tho so dont take my word on it

Yes that is true about honda making small jet airplanes. I know they had made one prototype but i havent heard much else after that. I think that was a few years ago now. maybe even 2005.

Honeslty i wouldnt hold my breath for anything amazing from honda for 09.

And with the ktm, can am, and polaris 450 machines out now why would you wait for a honda? Hell even the kfx450r is a better machine.

Some of you need to learn basic manufacturing... noone is goin to replace a model every single year... do you have any idea how much it costs to buy all the tools, dies, train the workforce, and design a new product??? The 1st year of your sales basically pays for these costs and then the 2nd year is the profit... thats why you usually see a major update every 2 years...

look at honda cbrs for example... 99 & 00 the F4 was out... in 01 and 02 they added fuel injectiong... 03 04 they had a nice 600rr... 05 06 they redesigned it and updated the model... 07 08 were totaly new bikes again...

so expect a new model every 4 or 5 years and an update every 2... 450r is due for an update...

Nicely put. Although i would like to know why Honda would be lacking if they didn't have EFI ? You cant win a race with a carb now ? You cant trial ride with a carb no more ? I wish somebody would have told me.

why spend the money to update a product that is still selling? and there not required to put fuel injection on it until like 2010 or 2011 so why do it now if it still sales better than other manufacturs 450's?

Honestly I don't care/want EFI. But they can do ALOT of things besides that.

you would think with all the innovations that honda has ever made that they could possibly design a rear linkage that doesn't pogo the hell out of you.

but instead they make robots that can walk on their own....awesome

i love my honda but they probably are not going to change much because that have a nice market share and even with the new quads out they still have a good share of the market.

its all about making that money why spend money to sell products when the name will sell the product haha

EFI would be great, but I would like to see some changes in the handling department first. :D
