Anyone know what kind of numbers Rage and DASA are getting out of these bikes and how are they tuning them without a power commander out yet? Also are there all the parts ready to make a race motor or are they custom making them?

I called dasa and they said they didnt start making an exhaust yet? I just went and bought a rossier.

I hear the race motors are making in the 65hp range.

I know they have tweaked them up to about 70, but considering the light weight of the bike they found that the mid 60's put them right where they need to be with power and reliability.

I work at a can-am dealer and we are finding out its hard to get that much hp out of the bikes right now because most aftermarket companies dont have parts out yet so you cant do too much yet.

i read somewhere that the "stage 2" kits from valcourt(can am) are around 54 hp peaking at 9000 rpm. different head, 50mm throttle body, different hi comp piston are in the kit.

I dont know if there is a link. I read it on one of the "manuals" from a race team. brp dynos in kw and you have to convert it over to hp.

They might as well put them up to the 70 horsepower cause the reliability isn't there either way.:D

Ive seen this claim of 65-70 hps 450cc quad in other posts just that it seems way too high with out bore or stroke in my opion!52-55hps is more believable!
