Yes, it's riveted on. I use OEM clutches.

which ever basket you go with should have the procedure on how to change the gear out.

your new basket will come with small allen bolts. follow the included instructions. Use red locktite and peen the edges of the bolts to keep them from moving on you. good luck.

Your new clutch basket will have instructions, but we can give you a general run-through.

Yes, your gear is rivited on. The most popular method is to grind off the rivet heads from the basket side because it doesn't matter if you knick or scratch it. You're replacing it because it's toast, anyways, a few grind marks ain't gonna hurt it any more.

Your new basket doesn't use rivets, it will come with small screws to hold the gear on. Use loctite.

Yes, I'm trying the EBC heavy duty springs also. So far, so good.

Yes, If you have access to a bead blaster, blast all of the plates and also your pressure plate where the fibers rub and your inner hub. I just replaced my clutch pack and this worked well for me.

barnett and oem are good plates. the oem are better for lower end horsepower numbers id say the barnett plates to me seem to have more bite.

do not use cr500 clutch springs, they are actually weaker then stock contrary to belief

If you want some HD springs, get some 400ex barnett HDs.
