Does a stage 1 cam and piston make a diffence

I was wondering if putting in a stage 1 cam and an aftermarket piston makes a noticeable difference, and do any other motor mods need to be done to accomidate these

A high compression stock bore piston and stage 1 hotcam would make a very noticable difference.

Jetting and a slip-on exhaust would help maximize the performance of these upgrades.
