Okay so i went to the track yesterday and i have run into some problems with my jetting so i am looking for a little help. It has a 158 main in it right now with a 42 pilot. i just removed the choke last weekend and this is the first time riding at since. It has and hmf slip on aluminium air box with no lid. my jetting was spot on before i removed the choke now it pops alot on decel and it cuts out on me relly bad. so carb experts do you have any clue on what it is so i could mess with it. please help me out.

Back firing on decel indicates a lean condition. Turn your fuel screw out a turn and see if it improves.

It's on the lower forward portion of the carb. It's rests in a recessed hole. It's a brass flat tipped screw on 1999-2004 models and a "D" headed screw on the 2005 and Up models.
