nuetral safety switch

Anyone have trouble with the nuetral safety light not coming on?After my son rides for a while and shuts it off the light wont come on till it cools down,I assume the switch is overheating.Are these easily replaced?I can jump the selenoid and get it running but what a pain.

I had the same ploblem with my sons 06. I took it to the honda shop and they said it was a ploblem with the contacts in the switch,and the warranty cover the cost for repair.
