does anyone make a aftermarket Guard/Grill/Screen to protect the headlights from getting hit by rocks?

I'm thinking of something similar to the steel rock guards on a Baja type bug, of Offroad truck?

DG used to make (not sure if they still do) a metal headlight frame/grille for the 400EX.

Here's the link to a set: http://www.monstermarketplace.com/Automotive/Landing375a414.html

A 2nd option, Nac's Racing makes plastic push-on covers for the 400EX in red and black for around 12-13 dollars. I run them when I go to the MX track so my lights don't get chipped up. Nice b/c you can push them on/take them off when you need to. Don't have a pic at the moment sorry.

A 3rd option, you can run Clear Guard covers. They're essentially a thick 3M adhesive film that sticks onto the lights to protect them. They come in a variety of colors like clear, blue, red, smoke, etc.

Thanks nacsmxr,
that DG guard looks sweet, but over$123 bucks? ouch!

i tried to look up the nacs covers, but their website dosent seem to work anymore. they probably would be what i'm looking for, and I'd love to see some pics.

the clear covers dont really float my boat.

This was the last one sold from this site, back when it was exriders.com:D

Might be willing to part with it for the right price;)

Yeah I noticed their website is down. If you give them a call i'm sure they might have a set.

I used to have better pics on imagestation, but they removed the site so I lost all my pics.

Here's a pic of the red covers on my quad. Excuse the condition, it was in the middle of a rebuild.

Dirtmamma, a member here used to make them several years ago. I don't think she's still making them though.

I bet any embroidery shop could do it;)
