Big Gun questions

I have recently purchased a clean '03 400EX, that has a Big Gun full exhaust system,(part # BG 2001, w/race core insert), jetted, intake filter, and removed airbox lid, as per Big gun specs.

It is louder than I would like it to be, but the performance is great.

(Yes, i've checked the packing, it was about half gone, I've repacked it, it's better but still pretty loud)

I was looking up a Quiet core insert on Big Gun's website, but I dont find any sound or performance spec's, comparing the Race core insert, vs. the Quiet core insert.

Can anyone here chime in on the comparative sound levels, and performance levels between the two different inserts?

also, if I DO change it to the Quiet core insert, will I need to change the jetting? and if so, what should it be changed to?
