crf450 timing chain in a 400ex

I read somewhere that this is a direct swap only the crf chain is more heavy duty piece. can anyone confirm this?

thats all I use, they are alot thicker and I have never replaced one that I put in. also they are less then 1/2 the price. that is a CRF450 chain not the CRF250

Thanks for cleaing that up for me, another question do I need to chain the Cam Sprokets to use the CRF450 Chain or is it a direct bolt on?
