Hi,
I have a modded 90 E-TON. At the local races I see the other mini's are running after market rims and tires. Is there a big advantage doing this or are stock rims and tires ok.
Thanks'

Well, The snowhog should be a little lighter. We run the larger rims and tires in the front to get the chassis to have the right ride height. The biggest reason to use Douglas rims is because of weight. Your stockers are very heavy in comparision. I saved a total of 8.8 lbs just changing the front steel rims for Douglas Aluminum rims for both. It's all about less rotating mass. IMHO.

Thanks guys,
I can see what you're saying about the weight.
Thanks,
