Thinking about getting Rekluse auto clutch. I would like to know the if its worth it or not and any reasons not to get one or if i should get one. If I do get one do I want the clutch override so i I can still use my clutch manually.

i got one. Put it in, used it for about 10 hours of ride time and then I took it out. I didn't really liked the way it grabbed. I felt as if it were robbing my power. IDK, maybe I'm just weird. Its still sitting in a box in my garage...

which one was it ? z-start , z- start w/override , or z-start pro? mine felt like it was robbing power too......then i put in the tc balls and it fixed it. i also feels like im down on power cause im always 1 gear higher than normal in most situations. i think it feels like that due to the smoothness of it . with the tc balls ...it snatches the front up easily in all situations now. the z-start pro is soo nice ...its like cheating!:D

I always wondered what is everyones main reason for getting a rekluse.

Not needing the clutch to shift?
Or
Not needing to use the clutch when starting/stopping?

yea i have the z-start pro and i love mi. but i had the old z-start and i liked it for what it was but now that i have the pro it a huge differnet. when i hear people talk about geting one i tell them i have one and love and if they tried one that they would love it too. it is WORTH EVER PENNY for it.

alot of the people who say its not for me probably had the original model.the newer one is a little more refined. maybe we shouldnt say anything and keep them as a secret!! shhhhhhhh;)

mate of mine has the rekluse I do not, I rode his quad at a race meeting when i had some trouble wih mine, I cant realy see much of an advantage except when launching off line you dont have to worry about stalling it, on the other hand I like using the engine braking effect into corners and I felt the rekluse did not give me that, it just seemed to take me too fast into the corners, I geuss if I ran one on my quad I would probably get used to it but I dont think the advantages for me are worth the expense.

you need to go into the corners harder then. i dont drift into corners ....i brake late and hard and stab the trottle and transition out of the turn.the slingshot effect when doing this is fantastic.you will gain ground on every turn if you do it right. the more technical the terrain is ...the more i like it. but i guess its not for everyone ;)
