This part of the clamp does not fit the stem its about 1/4" off.I read a review at Rockymountain that said the same thing the person ended up modding it to fit but for the $144.99 i spent this should fit with no problems. On the other hand i have called streamline and their going to put one on a 400ex they have their and call me back but I'm pissed i shouldn't have to mod any part of this at all.We will see if they will make it right.

Im probaly just going to keep it and take the dremel to it but ill wait and see wht they say first .Now im not sayin their product is junk but like i said before i shoudnt have to do any modding AT ALL. Oh and read this review..... (Review updated on Feb 28, 2008Happy After ModificationsBy James in WVComments On Feb 27, 2008:
It works great after you get it on your quad but I had to make modifications to the clamp on mine because it would not clamp all the way...and the instructions suck...)

Do you have an aftermarket steering stem? They can be narrower than stock stems.

no i have a stock stem and i just got off the phone with them. This is whats going to happen I'm going to make it fit by removing some of the aluminum .Streamline told me to measure the inside diameter i did its 3/4" they said they don't make one that's a 3/4" so mine is a defect and they will be sending the right one out free of charge asap in the mean time i can keep the defect and mod it to fit, but the correct size is on the way. Thanks again streamline and to you hornetgod13.. well I'm out the door now to do some modifications lol...I'm calmer now hahahahahah.

It doesnt need two nuts. Mine only has one to tighten it onto the clamp and thats it.

A "must have" for XC and MC alike. Worth every penny of the $150.00 I spent on it. Gibson makes one of the best stick stabilizers.

By the way hornetgod13, i think i'm going to have to shop around for different graphics. Are quads are looking like twins. I'll post up a pic in a min.
