not enough compresion??

I recentley changed the piston in my 2001 300ex, the bike was running good, but then a valve spring got loose some how. Fixed the valve, replaced the piston rings, and the gaskets but it wont start. It wants to, has some compression, has good spark, and is getting gas. The valves and piston are all moving....any ideas on what to do?

re-check your cam timing.

I checked the timing and its all lined up....I am stumped ! Just hoping to have it running for spring time riding :ermm:
