alright guys, i have a few more clutch questions.
1. its time to replace my clutch basket, as i took it apart today and there are some pretty deep grooves in it. I can get a hinson for $205, wiseco for about $175, or stock for $170. i'm looking for pros and cons of each. are hinson baskets worth the extra money?
2. my quad doesn't really accelerate at all in 4th and 5th gear anymore. it revs to the moon, but it won't go. i'm hoping this is being caused by the grooves in the basket, or maybe the springs wearing out and not the transmission. the fibers don't look burned or anything, so maybe they're just out of tolerance now?
3. if i go with a hinson, i can still use the stock inner hub and pressure plate, correct?
thanks for any advice.

i forgot to mention that it only has issues accelerating in 4th and 5th and full throttle. if im just cruising in those gears it seems to be ok.

you can use the stock components with the hinson basket.Yeah it sounds like your clutch is slipping, the higher gears put more of a load on the clutch
