EDIT: I forgot to mention that I was having trouble bleeding the front brakes. One of the nipples is stripped and I cant get it off...........
I finished this build about 3 months ago (fresh top end (piston, rings, gaskets), 50% of the seals and bearings on the bottom end are new or are solid) I got a ghetto "race" harness off ebay and Im sure thats the issue. I am getting spark, I am getting fuel into the cylinder, Im guessing its not getting the right amount of Air or somehow the timing is off.
Compression is 170
Right now I just need the money and don't have the time to mess with it anymore.
I can go way more into detail for those who are seriously interested.
Heres the mods. This R was built part by part and is VERY clean!!!!
-89 engine with new powder coat, NEW bore, hone, piston kit, hot rods 86 short rod,
pistons also 86. NEW water pump bearing/seal, all bearings seals checked or replaced.
Boyseen TQ reeds, reed spacer, billet water pump cover, Billet exhaust flange, and of
Course NEW gaskets on whole engine. All cases are SOLID, case saver bolt nipples are
not broke but the upper is stripped (needs to be tapped)
-Stock carb (also have 36mm Mikuni)
-ESR TRX6 Exhuast
-K&N filter w/outer wear, stock box with ESR plug (no lid on box)
-Stock 89 Frame NO cracks NO bends… Frame was blasted, primed, painted with automotive gun, and then baked.
-Stock Swinger in awesome condition (new bearings front/back)
-Stock rear shock (solid w/ no leaks /not blown)
-Stock pegs, brake lever, and engine mounts have fresh PC
-PEP front Triple rates W/ res. (180lb set for hare scrambles) 1 ½ years old on re-build)
-LAEGER +2 A-arms w/ silver vein powder coat (about 2 years old)
-Dura blue Axle +2 (adjustable)
-NEW Burgard stem Fat bars / anti vibe +2
-Pro taper Fat bars (gold)
-NEW grips
-400EX front brake res.
-Stainless steel lines front and back
-NEW D.I.D o-ring gold chain
-PRM front bumper (fresh PC)
-PRM full skid
-PRM swing arm skid
-PRM desert grab bar
-Rear bead locks fresh PC
-NEW Hiper front rims non-beads
-NEW razor rear tires
-Front radials grooved
-Silver plastics w/ K&K graphics / seat cover
