I'm looking to buy a pair of Fox Nomad over the boot pants from Rocky Mountain tonight and was wondering what size i should get. i wear a 34" waist in jeans. Do the riding pants usually run small big or right on?

i know how jeans are when u get them a little big, the legs and butt are baggy, are riding pants like that too? cause i don't want these things being all baggy on me.

I wear a 34 in jean size and they are kinda loose fitting on me and i wear 36 in riding pants. they fit pretty good and snug. they tend to slip down and show some crack sometimes if im practicing and have made quite a few laps but i think 34 riding pants would be too tight

Do what I do. Order both and send one back.

Or, get the 34". If you think they are too tight then send them back. RM will pay your shipping charges. In fact, they will send you a pdf of the shipping label. You just print it and tape it to your box.

32" pants are a perfect fit for me and 32" riding pants are tight.
So yeah like everyone else is saying, get the next size up.

so i get the 36" Fox Nomad pants and they are extremely tight. my 34" jeans i have to wear a belt with. iunno what gives. first pair i got were 30" waist cause they sent me the wrong size so they overnighted me some for today and the 36" is too tight. this sucks.

does anyone make an adjustable waist pant? because the higher up in the waist you go the longer the legs are and i'm only 5' 10"

Thats really strange. I wear all shift gear. Im a 36 waist and all my riding gear is size 38. fits great. Not tight and not loose.

The only brand i know that runs really small is Four gear.

Hey if you get shift Squadron gear you can wear a belt with em! Thats what i do.

Also Shift Recon gear has adjustable velcro straps on either side. I have those as well. They fit great with alot of adjustablilty.

Both those are over the boot riding gear.

IMHO Fox gear sucks.

well i decided last night i was driving up to Iron Pony to go buy some new pants, i go there and tried on some Thor Static pant and i needed a 38 and the pants are short unlike the Fox Nomad being for like a 6' 2 person lol. The Thor pants fits me perfect.
