so i already have a +1 steering stem but i wanna buy hi rise bars now and im pretty sure my cables wont reach that far so what im gettin at is i cant find longer clutch cables am i just missin somethin or will my clutch cable reach its stock stuff on my bars so far........

a clutch cable from a 250x will work... they are a bit longer than the 400ex ones and you can route it different so that it goes around the head pipe instead of though them... hope that help... i get you a pic maybe tonite or tomorrow

I have Hi rise bars and a +1 stem and mine worked fine..

What year 250x???? I have a prob with my cable melting right now and want it fixed ASAP.... Thanks. This is the second time I have heard about the 250x cable, but I need to know what year so I can order one.

i think any year will work... but just incase just use a 92... but im pretty sure the clutch cables were all the same

x2 I put a 250x cable on mine and mine has lsr stem and rental 400ex bend bars which is a pretty high bend.
