stripped out

i just got back from the dealership with my new Fly bars and grips and ordered my 87' 250x ignition holder and got home and started taking off the ckutches and brakes and i started to take the throttle off and stripped out the bolts under it trying to take them out and now i cant get them out........any suggestions?

take dremel and gring a slit in the top to get a flathead screwdriver in there

tried that too.........only made it worse.......i don't know if the metal is real soft or what????

Take the dremel and cut the heads off the screws.

then take a pair of vise grips and take the rest out.

If you cut the heads off of the bolts (screws), the clamps should slide off of the throttle. Leaving the shank off the screw exsposed. Then you can get a bite on that with visegrips and twist it out.

thats about all you can do besides drill it out and tap it larger

Get a pair of needle nose vise grips and grip down on the screw head.

Get you a set of Easyouts. Their made just for the job of removeing striped heads. I know Sears sells a set of Craftmans but you should be able to get them at just about any hardware or automotive store.

thanks for all the help guys, i ended up getting one to come out with a drill and then cut the head off the other one.....and it twisted out with my fingers......thanks again!!!!
