Nice MXR, a video would be nice for some other people that have the MXR. I want one but I'm stuck on the DS and LTR to so idk. I like how aggresive the MXR looks.

Looks Nice! What did you have to mod to mount it on the Side?

haha yea when we finally got it figured out i was like, that sucks, its not in the middle, but i actually like it better with it on the side. All i had to do was take a bolt out of the rear grab bar and a bolt out of the foot peg and move the rear break resevior sideways so the tube doesnt touch, and take the subframe bars that come up to the inside because it wouldnt fit with it on the ouside and i thought it would be stupid with only one on the outside and one on the inside. But if you look in the pictures you can kind of see the mounts, nothing custom its how it came.

I think thats weird how it doesn't mount in the center. Because I was looking at my magazines today and noticed that In the FMF ad with Caleb Moore in it doing a back flip; they have these exhaust on there quads and their center mounted. But I did see H-bomb at steel city and these exhaust are great and they also run the full system and theirs is center mounted so idk what happened with yours ??? lol

they dont use the exact fmf 4.1, his is custom made.

I think that they put it on the side dso they can work out some sort of new air box.

Rath had this on their display at the dealer show.

Is FMF the only company that is doin it with it comin out on the side instead of the center???

that rath outlaw is pretty sick, you have any more pictures of it, like of the full quad? And technically fmf is the only company making an exhaust for the 450 right now, i know others are on there way, but all they have is exhaust for the 525s out. Also i took two videos, there both kinda gay, and my camera made the exhaust sound a little higher pitched and not as deep as it is.

I do have more pictures but Alba has their exhaust and it will fit all 3, IRS, 525s, and the 450mxr. HMF also has a slip on.

nice video's and I noticed in the second one that it shot out a spark...did you rejet it when you put the exhaust on? not that it matters if thurs some sparks coming out but just wondering. And have you hit any mx tracks with your mxr yet? If you have how was it? did it handel good? anyone else take thurs to a mx track...?

yea that was the only time its ever shot a spark and ive had it on for about 3 or 4 days. but to answer both of you, before i had it on, i put the dynojet jet kit in it, so all i had to do when i put this on was change the main jet, because it ran like **** with the other one in it, now it runs perfect. but no, never any mx track yet =(, tracks open in about a month here in orange county, ny area. so when they open im going, but i can only practice, not race, im not 16 =/

that sucks that you can't race yet, but if you like it enough you can race next season no biggy

Moving the exhaust to that side could be a good thing. We have been doing some mods to the stock shocks to get the ride height lower on the mxr and the 525s. We have been able to lower the ATV 1.5'' and increase the wheel travel in the rear 12''. There is a probelm with clearance on the exhaust when using 20'' rear tires with the extended travel ( the caliper is really close to the stock exhaust)

Was this pipe specific for the Outlaw straight axle?
Im still confused by the mounting tab on the muffler itself.
