Well I finally got my tranny and head back from MotoXperts. The last time I rode my quad was at the Labor Day ride at BPG last year.

New parts that are going on:

-Laker plastic
-MotoXperts motor and tranny
-Dasa Exhaust
-Hour meter
-HEP rear fender brackets
-Moose case saver
-ITP quad cross MX Pro
-Hipers
-PEP shock covers
-PC work by that gay guy on the site.. I think his name is Pappy??


Thats all I can think of now. I cant wait. Heres some pics of the motor and tires.

Toby at MotoXperts just finished my motor up also except he put it back together for me. I took it apart on my kitchen table like you are doing there reassembling it. Toby seems pretty cool just too bad I live to far away to actually meet him. He said his motors did good at the 1st GNCC. Get that thing together so we can see it!!!!!

Update:

The motor is almost done, I made a huge mistake while putting it back together and had to order a new right side case cover. So that is holding me up to get the motor done. I ordered the Laker plastic and a QT hump seat. Those should be in this coming week sometime. I also got my DASA packing in to put in my exhaust and got some ODI lock on grips.

Looks awesome Nick. CV4 came out with a set of white radiator hoses. I think those would look awesome on there. I plan on getting a set for mine soon.

Hmm Im gonna have to get some... I saw them before but they said they were only a special time offer or something.

I just checked their site and it says the white ones are 140 dollars, vs the other colors that ar 70 dollars.:ermm:

Laker plastic came in, looks top notch. Along with the SF Racing graphics and G4 Pre prints and Quadtech cover and foam. Also got a Hotcams shim kit.

Nick, did he do the same port job that he did for Cody Anderson on yours? I just sank a bunch of money in mine over there and Toby did a HELL of a job. I finally got mine back together after he basically replaced EVERYTHING, and this thing SCREAMS. Its just plain hard to hold onto. Have you had Toby build you one yet?

Im totally satisfied and will definitely support MotoXperts from now on hes getting all of my business.

ya he said its the same set up as Codys.. Did you get the piston too?

This is my first MotoXperts motor and I cant wait to see what this thing can do.. This is also the first time riding with a built motor.:devil:

Im still running my Venom 14:1 piston that has countless hours on it because it was still in perfect condition and I've just always liked what that piston did. Other than that Toby built me Cody's motor. Man you are gonna love it, its an absolute animal. Its damn near thrown me off on the track numerous times, just tries to crawl out from under ya.... When it needs redone its going right back to him. Hes a hell of a salesman too, I went and picked it up at his shop and he ended selling me about 700 bucks worth of other crap that I dont need. Get that thing together and rip on it dude..... you'll be in love........

It looks like you got the hump seat kit instead of the new seat with the cover already on it? Just curious about how it works, they send you the extra foam and you just install the cover over top? I was curious about how it works... Looks great BTW!!

Ya they send you the foam and the cover and you have to put it on your stock seat pan. It is actually pretty easy to install. Even though I shot some staple through my kitchen floor. hehe

haha Na, The laker fenders actually dont use bottom brackets for the rear fenders. I didnt know this at the time when I bought the HEP brackets. But thanks anyways.

How is the fit and finish on that quad tech seat? Seems like since the foam is seperate it would have some play in it and move around a little bit... How hard was the install? Def, thinking about doing that myself, half the price of buying the seat whole!

Looks like the breather hose that goes from the airbox to the head. The stock one is black, and probably melted on the head pipe like mine did and he probably replaced it with that red one.

The seat was really easy to install with the help of a buddy. No play at all in it.

The red hose is for a breather.

Hey I think you need to change your signature it looks kinda outdated with the parts.
