250ex exhaust on a 400ex?

i have a 250ex at the moment but im getting a 400ex in the next couple weeks.
the 250ex has a full system HMF, and i was wondering whether just the silencer(not the head pipe) will fit a 400ex. it would save me quite a bit a cash, thanks in advance

theres a good chance just the silencer end will. Its pretty close to the stock 400ex header pipe. But the brackets and connecting end are different bends and locations. So I take that back no unless you fabricate your own brackets and piece that connects from the silencer can to the header pipe. If you dont have welding skills or acces to piping and something to bend it forget it.

ive seen a 300ex exhaust put on a 400ex.. possible though
