Anyone know why honda is skimping out on supporting atv racing as far as factory support, rig, all that good stuff and why they don't have an official rider this year?

We can't even get a tv ad with honda racing, just 4x4 and kids on crf. all of the others manufactures show their sport quads and bikes in race type action.

Go grab a Suzuki or a Kawi. Or wait til this summer and get the new YFZ 450 its suppose to be pretty cool.

ask joe if honda is paying him directly, honda will be the last (if ever) to get back into atv racing. after the law suits of the 80s i'm not sure honda will ever get back in. what is happening is local dealers can (if they want) sponsor a rider with a quad and or parts, but no pay! i hope i am wrong !

Bryd, Upperman and goodman all get quads paid for by honda. I know upperman got 6 fully built ones paid by them and byrd also got the same. I guess you can look at it like this they have problly the most number of quads at a national than anyone else so they must be doing something right?

Honda may not do squat for the sport. But they have produced one of the best sport quads since 04. Every holeshot you see there is a pack of Honda's up front. Why do you think privateer;s choose Honda? Even though they are not involved as heavily in our sport, they still have one of the best platforms available.

well all the boys in red really don't have any support now. As of 9-11-09 Honda has terminated all atv rider support. This goes against the philosophy of the guy that created honda's way back in the late 60's! He was all about racing and now they are a sad joke for a performance company with no outlet to race in most forms of racing!!!

Honda SERIOUSLY messed up.. I dont even ride quads, but im friends with a few that do.. (one of them losing the help from Honda).. Tempted to sell my crf just because it really shows how much Honda cares about anyone but themselves.. Talked with another friend, who is in the know, confirmed my exact thoughts... They just plain old dont care..

KTM, ARE YOU HEARING THIS? Step up for these 3.. Same "teams" different bikes.. Would be better off anyhow! (just dont rob peter to pay paul)..

I'm guessing the 3rd will be Miller. He raced the Montreal Supercross with the others.
Yamaha may be up front. Rumor has it that the Yam bike ppl coughed up some electronics..Sure worked for the Kaws.

They all (pro's) used to buy their own machines and stuff. It'll be hard for the them to take a step back and basically be a privateer "with help".
Remember, it's a rollercoaster ride. The economy will make a comeback hopefully.

Till then look for Can-Am and Polaris to be (or continue being) the next big statement in racing. Both don't have the bikes draining thier race budjets.

I just seen that Creamer signed w/Suzuki.
Him and Wimmer.
I think it's the worst decision ever by Suzuki to not have Doug Gust as a rider again.
Lamers...
