Why don't you have them powdercoated?

Ask Pappy in the BK Performance thread for a price qoute on the powder coating.

If you ride in sand a lot, try a set of sand star tires on the front too.

I like the looks of it. Nerfs are what it needs in my opinion.

hornetgod13- do the front sandstars make a noticeable difference in the sand?

honda#4 yea i bought it like that with the grab bar bent.. and as far as future mods i would like to get into the engine and throw in a hIgh compression piston and a cam but dont know when thats going to happen... but ima get some nerfs in the near future.. i would also like to try that amr coil and rev box jsut to see if it makes any difference in power...


dang400ex- i got the covers off ebay for like $32 or something like that but i like em...

a bumper would also do it some justice but it looks very nice and clean the way it is. ive never rode in sand before must be a blast

yeaaa i thought about the bumper but i kinda like the way the stock one is smaller than the ofter market ones.. i hate when i see a huge a** bumper on this thing like they can push a tree down or something.. no offense anyone out there.. lol but yea sand is a blast........

i have a red 02 as well. looks good some nerf and a bumper would really bring it out.

Wow that is really nice. I wish I had a 400ex to ride around on trails and crap with but I really like how nice and clean it is but you should put those nerfs on anyway until you get new ones.

Yes they do! The tires float on the sand and the dual ribs sink into the sand and provide excellent directional control. I couldn't imagine running on sand with dirt tires.

my friend just sold me his black iron cross bumper for 20 bucks that was on his 250r n then his 450r lol
