i just picked up a 06 yfz in great shape, like 3 oil changes on it. i was wondering if the if the oil port problem was a hit and miss type deal or if all of them are defects and its just a matter of time before it breaks. i plan on doing the mod regardless but just wondering how common the problem is.

its common.do it.if you plan on doing it anyway....why even ask?

keep an eye on your axle as well.

and make sure you check those 2 starter cover bolts behind the starter gear.
