Thought I would never sell my CR, but the time has come. Had plans on racing in the Vintage class with this bike, but it's just to clean and original. I purchased it from the original owner in CA some time ago and I've only put maybe 2 hours on the bike. The original owner told me he put roughly 10-15 hrs on the bike. The only parts not original are the rear tire and DG pipe. The grips, bars, chain, sprockets, motor, plastic, is all original. The paint on the frame shows hardly any use. The only problem is a small pin hole leak on the water pump cover. I've repaired it with JB weld and holds fine. Didn't want to remove the cover to keep it original.
This bike will go up in value the older it get's. For comparison purposes, an '82 CR125 was listed on Ebay a short time ago and it was restored, not original, it sold for $2800. Original 250's bring much more money. This bike is basically for a collector who loves the old red machines. Have title and some extra parts to go with bike
