i saw a pic a while back on here, of some 450R shocks with the works kit..
im curious as to how much 'sag' you end up with using the kit with them, considering how much taller the 450r stock springs make the 400EX sit..

I have a set with the works triple rate springs on them. Works customizes the kit for you. I don't think there is any way around the sag with these shocks. The lower ride height you want the more sag you are going to have. They make a great trail setup I think. Like I said, works at least custom assembles the kit for you, I don't think they custom wind the springs. They set it up for your weight, a-arms, type of riding and desired ride height. Nice kit, I haven't been able to ride much though. To much snow and to cold. Thats what my rev is for!

I have the Gt Thunder springs on my 450r shocks. does sag and I'm having trouble keeping them from being too bouncy.

Not sure if this will help but I am attaching a pic of my 450R shocks with Works Triple Rates.

As far as static sag, with the 450R stock springs I backed the preload all the way off and the quad was the same ride height as my new stock 08 shocks on the middle preload setting. With the Works Triple Rate Kit on the 450R shocks I had to tighten the preload about 1/2" as shown below.

so will i get plent of sag or not... colby at c&dracing said that his spring kit will lower my ride height about 2-2.5 inches

somebody correct me if I'm wrong but if it is going to lower the ride height 2-2.5" than it is going to sag 2-2.5" There is no way to shorten the shock, the only way to lower the ride height is to put a shorter spring on it which will also give you a lot of sag. (if I am understanding the term sag correctly)
