If anyone can tell which oil is better for the 525,
Is it the rottella t 5-30 synthetic or just the standard 15-40
I am currently running the standard polaris ps4plus oil and i am hearing that the rottella t is better. Just not sure wich one syntetic or non synthetic.

Thanks for any help on this.

THe Rotella T Synthetic works great in the 525 motor. I believe it is the oil that the factory KTM team uses in their bikes, that's good enough for me! That and it is only $16 a gallon at Wal-Mart!

Rotella-T Syn. 5-30 here
works great and even seemed to quiet the motor down a little

I use 15/40. No problems whatsoever and seems to run a little quiter.

I use the non-synthetic. Its cheaper and I change oil every other ride. I am not a synthetic oil believer. I have never used it and see no reason to pay the extra money.
