I found this very handy formula for all of you guys (and girls) that actually WANT 10:1, or 11:1 CR when you build your motor, not what the piston manufacturer (namely Wiseco) says it is! It takes into account everything, just factor gasket thickness into your deck height (make sure you use COMPRESSED thickness, very important). You can also back-track to find some awsome little kit planes (if you're into that sort of thing).
