Stock "04" 450r

Okay.

I have used the search button but came up empty.
my ? is who if anyone makes an adjustable fuel screw for the stock carb.

Here Is a quote from Zip- Ty racing:

As long as it has a new model FCR carb on it, you can put a fuel screw on it. It would be the FMS01 or the FMS02, just depends on clearance. But yes, you can put one on.

All I know is it is the stock carb and I do not find the FMS01 or the FMS02 on it any where!:ermm:

EDIT: According to Woodward Specialties site the same adjustable A/F screw works in all years for the 450r carbs, from 04 to 08.

It is close but does NOT work. I tried it and it caused me all kinds of problems until I put the stock one back.

I have yet to find a a/m 04/05 a/f screw. Only find them for the FCR's. your best bet is to just buy an FCR anyway. Its worth it just save up the money. Im in that process myself cause im sick of messing with my stock 05.

I used to have an FCR. I did it when the mod first came out in 04. I didn't like the hard 2 stroke hit it gave me. I like the smoother power of the stock carb.
