chain question

ive only got maybe 30hrs at the most on my quad and im gonna change the sprocket sizes to a 12 in front 39 in back on my 300ex but i was wondering should i change my chain while i am doing this or not. if so what kind of chain o-ring or standard ? my chain is not wore at all i lube it after every ride and clean my quad every ride as well. any help would be great

The chain that you have will work with the change that you are planning. Astupid question, why are you going to a 12T in the front? The 300 has plenty of low end with the 13T. When I had a 300, I went to a 14T and still had good low end. Just wondering.
