Hey guys I have an old style Sparks Racing x-6 exhaust for a 400ex that has been cut down to a shorty. I bought it off of a kid who said it was fine, and it wasn`t. I bought the pipe and it leaked at the midpipe bracket, BADLY.
I had a new plate welded over the bracket and holes, so it DOES NOT leak at all anymore. Where it was welded it was also ground out on the insde, so there are no spirals hanging and the air-flow is perfect.
The pipe also has a BRAND NEW core and encap just installed last week with FRESH packing. The headpipes have been bead-blasted and after the midpipe was patched I high-temp painted the midpipe black. It seems to be JUST FINE, but this pipe is too loud for my liking. H have close to $250 in the pipe, and I will take $230 shipped. I will also throw in money on a trade for a full HMF so I buy a quiet core. I will post some pictures on here. Enjoy.
I will also include enough packing to pack the pipe 2 more times. It should be freshly packed every 20-30 hours of riding. Thanks
