?what years were 125 fourtrax made?

i found a fourtrax 125 for 300 bucks going in morning to look at it what years were they made and could it be just that it has another name maybe sportrax cant find much info or hardly a single pic so far im thinking they only made them in 87 88.i thinking of buying it for my 7yr old daughter.any infowould be great

i had an 86 when i was a kid and if i rememeber right in87 or 88 they come out with the more rounded fenders and suspension on them, my 86 was rigid no suspension hope that helps a bit

i went and looked at it today got the guy down to 250.00 on it told him id be back tomorrow after snow melts off to see it ride we started it today and its 26 degrees here but the carb going to need some work fuel pours out the bottom of the bowl and its in need of some brakes going to try and get it a little cheaper as well . would like to find a site where i can get detailed info on it im almost certain its a 87 or 88 model it was snow covered so i didnt look to hard for the mfg date .

i had an '87 four trax 125 it had a white tank cover and red fenders. that price sounds good, back in the day i think we sold mine for 800.00, i think i was around 7-10 years old at the time and i remeber having a blast and never had any problems with it what so ever! good luck!
