the squirters dont stop.yamaha's "splash" design is just a poor design.
the wristpin doesnt get the lubracation is needs and might fail.not all do.

theres a free "mod" that you can do but it entails removing the head, piston and drillin a cpl holes in the clutch cover case.theres a loss of oil pressure going this route.but it is free and they say it accomplishes the same result.
i went the j&t route.just so i know its right.200 for some added insurance

What year is your YFZ if its a 05 or 06 you can up grade it to the 07. There is a boss by the oil filter inside the cover that can drill & milled to have the oil squirter installed it work better then drilling the hole behind the filter.

You will have to drill the hole behind the oil filter on the 04. You will have to fine a dealer that knows how

Alrite i'll most likely get it done by dealer then......how much do you think they would charge??

to much, you may want to buy the side cover for the 07 and the oil squirter & o ring it will be cheaper. And you should replace the water pump seals & shaft they go bad.

I just changed my waterpump seals, my shaft is good, and i changed to a hi-flo impeller about a month ago.......and if i send it to J&T would i have to use a diffrent clutch cover?

if you didnt modify the case cover to fit the new impeller...i doubt thatll be an issue.
the impeller stays on the cover when you send it in.no need to remove it from the case.
your best bet is to email todd and ask him.
his email is on the j&t link.hes a good guy and will get back to you quick.
