Ring gap?

I am in the process of putting a stock (brand new) air cooled drx 50 top end on my daughters sundiro ridge runner 50.
I have a take off jug and head and a replacement piston and rings. Do I need to check the ring gap or are they good to go?
If needing attention whats the spec(s)?

you should be good . Set your piston/head squish to about .035". This is what i do. you may get other opinions.
