Ok well I have a pro armor tether that I cant really figure out how to install. I have searched and searched some more and just dont understand it. So if someone could help me it would be great. Pics would also be nice. Also what wire is the ground? The shorter or the longer wire? I have tried to hook it up like JOEX but that didnt work. Help would be really nice.

so i believe that pro armor actually sells a kit that makes it just a plug in situation ive seen them around cause i need to get one myself for racing this year

Yes they do make an installation kit but not one for the 400ex. We figured it out tonight.

oooooohhhhhhhhh man that sucks i cant find one now i just remeber io came across it and thought ill get that when im ready but i guess your right they dont make it for the 400ex sorry....

i hooked mine to the kill switch wires coming from the handlebar switch. cant remember what wires but take the switch apart and you will see the two wires. make sure you get the right two.

Yeah I was told to do it that way by someone that I know..But I just spliced it into the yellow and black wire at the coil..

That's what I did with my Pro Design, works fine ;)

i hooked mine up to the wires from the kill switch. they are the black wire with white spots and the green wire. i soldered a couple wires to the kill switch wires and put bullet connectors on them and then put bullet connectors on the wires from the tether so you can unhook it. it works great! if your tether is the one in the pic then it dosn't matter what wire is ground and positive bc it's the same wire and the tether kill switch just cuts off the connection.
