View Full Version : Valve clearance, 87' 350 Honda utility 4x4

Anyone know what the intake and exhaust for the valves should be set at on this bike. I just put the motor together for my cousin and have no clue what to set the valves at.

I was thinking of setting it just to the stock 400ex #'s. I was thinking that wouldn't hurt and then when he finds his manual, or asks someone he can adjust it himself?

You guys know the #'s? and what do you think about just setting it to the 400exs settings. let me know tnx.

My dad has a service manuel for the old 350. When I go over there this evening I will look. If I can find it I will post it later.

I asked my dad what they were and he told me without even looking. We looked it up anyway, and he was right. Intake and exhaust are the same. they are both 0.003 in or 0.08 mm.
