Well just depends what kinda riding you want to do, i have hurd a lot of bad things on the kfx450, but the hondas are always good and relible. But if it were me i would get a ltr 450 there awsome bikes, or an old 250r! well hopes this helps some!

HONDA!! +1 for the Kawasaki's always being in the shop. I know too many people that have had numerous problems with their Kawa-sucky's. There shouldn't be any question about which one to get. Not bashing anyone, just stating from personal experience.

Go with the Honda, they're lighter so it's easier to do tricks on and there's way more aftermarket parts for em. I haven't heard good things about the kawis unfortunately:( I like kawi but their sport bikes arent that great. I know someone with a Honda 450r and he beats the crap out of it. It ain't given him a bit of trouble.
Hope this helps.

You guys dont know what your talkin about. Both quads bone stock are like most other quads, no power. I'm an owner of both and I have to say I'm very impressed with both. The kawasaki has an aluminum frame and feels much lighter than the steel framed 450r. No, there aren't more hop ups for the honda than there are for the kawi. Theres just as much for both. If you are goin for a full built race quad with hi comp engine, the kfx will blow the honda out of the water but will have more problems down the line because the will bend rodswith hi comp. The honda will have a reliable hi comp motor. If your lookin for a nice powerful trail quad, both have pros and cons. The kfx is geared from the factory for the woods. If you go down a tooth in the front, the kfx and trx are just about the same. The kawasaki has an awkward stance to it from the factory with low bars and tough seat. but a + 1 or 2 steering stem and quadtech seat and foam will fix that.

Its all preferences, but both turn out to be awesome rides
