with that price range you are probably limited to a stick style stabilizer like gibson and others.

They help with rider fatigue a lot. Worth buying for sure

Like stated above, unless you plan on spendig $500 you are limited to a stick style. There is nothing wrong with them. They just aren't as good as a puck style one. No matter what one you get you will notice a huge difference. I ran a stick one for years until I got a Precision.
If you ride the woods it will keep you from taking the jaring hits and having the bars ripped from your hands.

Ie got a srp stick stablizer for sale, no leaks its done great for me. It has a 7 wat adjustment.

PM me if your interested

Theres also a new puck style stablizer on the market, its called a CCP. There going for 170.00 given its no elka system 5 or precision but its gonna be the stick stablizer by leaps and bounds.

nothing wrong with the stick style, thats what ive ran. rebuild them once a year and theyre good as new. i cant justify spending 500 on one of the others when they still do the same thing

If you can get the puck style its well worth it, the sticks seem to go to heck even after rebuilding. The design doesn't lend itself to a lot of reliablity. Some guys will run 2 sticks.

If you can get a good used Scotts, Elka, Precision or GPR you'll be much happier but run what you can affford.

The puck style ones start at $475 and go up from there.

The stick ones start at $129 and go up from there.

Just remember that the mounts are different for certain models. So a stick for a blaster may not fit your 450R. I believe a 400ex stick will fit a 450R. The sticks are 2 types, rebuildable and non-rebuildable, all made by the same 1 or 2 companies, just the mounts are different by brand.

in the puck style, adjustment at the bars is cool (GPR, Scotts) but Precision has the most adjustment I believe.

GPR goes on right under the handlebars, I think the Scott may also. The rest go down under like the stick stabilizers.

GPR now offers a puck setup that mounts in the frame like others, but has a remote adjustment. It is very nice!

Ok guys.. we put the gibson on a 400ex... but when he turns the bar piece or w.e the whole thing moves
Is this supposed to do that?
we have it set up to where it comes out on the left side behind the shock... when he turns right the thing moves and hits the shock?
Anyone kno what the prob could be?
