cam chain

i think i can hear my cam chain while the motor is running. does that mean its bad or the tensioner bad. do they stretch like a regular chain? anybody selling a stage 3 cam?

witch side of your engine is it coming from? does it worsen when you hit the gas in neutral? My cam chain made this noise one time and come to find out it was the cam chain tensioner spring was broke, causing the chain to slap around and make a ticking sound.I have replaced both the tensioner and the cam chain with a CRF cam chain.

actually i was loaded and wanted to start it i might have been hearing things. i didnt whip or click i jus heard a chain spinning around. what year and cc crf chain?

i bought an 02 cam chain but not sure if other years fit.

in 05 the part number changes but go with this part# and you'll be fine 14401-MEB-671.
