I was just curious how many of your kids ride dirt bikes too and if so what bike do they ride?

Nope, that was the deal I had to make with the wife. She was ok with quads but said no to bikes.

Nope..Santa brought a new gasgas last year. kid hated it. mom hated it. Cried when I sold it....Santa should have brought a bigger one....

My 5 year old is starting to ride a borrowed PW50 along with his DRR 50. He has had a couple minor spills on it, but really seems to like it. He tried riding a Honda 50 but the foot brake and weight were a little too much right now.

I don't think my wife or my wallet will support two motorsports. I know there are different views about safety, but I would personally like to see him favors the bikes instead of quads.

Andy has a Suzuki 110 that he loves to ride, and has raced it a couple times, but he is definatly a "quad guy"!

I don't know how he can switch back and forth from the bike to the quad and not skip a beat. Never underestimate the abilities of kids!

yup bikes too ..my rider has raced bikes for the last 2 years
now we are going to race both this year ...2 quads & a bike ..

Christian has had a lot of bikes 3 KTM's (2 -50s and a 65),80 Honda, 110 Suzuki, Thumpstar,85 Suzuki, and a 110 Kaw. He has raced some of them and likes to ride but he prefers to race quads 10 to 1. He likes to use the bikes at the Nationals for for pit bikes.

Erik has a Sikk 125. He got it last year for his birthday. He loves it. He usually will race/play on it that at our home track in the pit bike class. He's defintely getting better at riding the bike but he lives to race his minis...lol:macho

The Boy rides a Honda xr70 for fun. or as he says "till my dad finally gets my quad back together" He'll pay for those words some day;)

Michael started at 3 on quads and 6 on bikes. He has had a PW50, CRF50, KTM50 Mini Adv, a Husqvarna 50Sr and now he has a KLX110

Yeah,just something to play around on and can double as a pit bike.The klx110 is what we are thinking about getting.

I hear ya.I was messing with Austin and told him if we got a bike we would have to trade his quad in on it,he looked and me and said "Just forget I said anything about a bike" lol.He's a quad guy too.

Our KLX110 has been a great play/pit bike. It even hauls me around ;) We bought ours in PA to avoid paying Maryland's sales tax. Got it brand new for $1585 cash out the door. Call around and you will find some good deals.
