my 01 660 is not starting when i press the start button the fuse boxx next to the battery just ticks
also what dose it men if your carb back fires

I bet it is the starter clutch. 660's have a huge problem with the one way starter clutch. It's prob not the battery or the fuse box. The problem is so common that there is a website dedicated to selling repair kits for them. Raptorstarterclutch.com. One of my riding buddies just had to do it to his bike.
