Anyone here had their rear shock rebuilt? Is it worth the money? how much did you pay for it? and who did you send the shock too? I heard the quadshop does the elka SSD conversion, and I know works does the heart transplant, but both of these are rather pricy from what I hear.

$300 for the elka rebuild from the quad shop, and worth every penny!!! i noticed a big difference in ride and handling. I do not regret it.

I have one of each ,,a works transplant ...& an elka zps conversion ..
I think they are well worth it ..

My rebuild was a PEP ZPS rebuild from baldwin. It was $425 but it's awsome. and cheaper than buying an entire shock.

Those of you with SCS or ZPS rebuilds, how much does the rear of the quad actually "sag"? I only ask because my front shocks are works tripple rates and are not ZPS, however they do sag a little bit. I don't want the rear end of the quad to ride significantly lower than the front.
