I bought a K and N filter and outerwear and havent used it yet. My question is do you think it is worth it to install it take the airbox lid off and rejet or should i just wait until i buy exhaust?

if u plan on the new exhuast soon id wait, cuz u probaly will have to rejet for optimum performance with a aftermarket pipe on it

When I bought a K&N I waited a year until I got a HMF to put it on. I didnt have the cash so I bought things as they came so I would have hope for my quad to 1 day be good. I would just wait, sure your intake can flow more but with the stock exhaust it doesnt do it much justice.

True, a K&N will not have the same affect on a stock engine and exhaust system but if you already have it, you might as well put it on. Rejetting will not be required for a K&N alone. Once you get your exhaust you can pull the lid and rejet as required.

I put a K&N on my dad's bone stock 400EX because he and I both hated cleaning the factory foam filters.
