if its real small just put a tire plug in it

there are two things you can do

take the tire off and put a nice high quality patch on the inside

or search aroun d at tire shops for a plug patch its a pach with a long pencil looking nipple that you pull through the hole and seal like a patch.

if those dont work tire slime probably isn't going to do much

Take the tire off and have somebody that knows what they are doing patch it. If that doesn't work you'll have to run a tube.

I race XC and i have had a few plugs over the years. Currently i have a hole in the sidewall of my Razr2 with 2 plugs in it and it doesn't leak. I just really Ream the hole with a good reamer before i put the plugs in with plenty of rubber cement.

i use slime in my 400ex tires and it works greta and i havn't had any problums but i only use it when i need it i don't put it in all my tires but i always make sure that if one rear needs it i put it in the other to even it out. i have also used rag plugs in sidewalls. my buddys fourtrack 300 has 3 rag plugs in the sidewall right now and those have been there for over a year

a rag plug is the regular type that are used for cotton ply tires. they can be gotten most anywhere. i use them all the time in the shop. you can use side cutters to cut them in half and get two pluggings.

you can get a kit at wall mart with the reemer cement and plugs and the plug insertion tool.

i call it (wall) mart bc of a southpark episode
