help!!

i have a 300ex an i cant get the brake rotor off the axel without taking the locknut off..is the any special way to take it off because it seems like alot of extra work takin off the locknut jus to take the rotor off..

If you are just looking to take off the brake rotor (and not the brake hub), then you should be able to remove the rear brake caliper and right rear wheel and hub, then loosen the bolts that hold on the rotor and slide it off the brake hub. Good luck.

ya im just taking off the rotor an i took off the 4 bolts that hold it an an i cant get it over the axel locknut to slide it off the axel..

Hmm, looks like you'll have to take the lock-nut off then. I didn't know if it'd slide over it or not. Shouldn't take too long to take the nut off though. I'm pretty sure it'd be left-hand thread. Good luck.
